Manitoba is still part of the prairies, but isn't quite as flat. We had a nice supper in Applebees in Brandon, Manitoba - it was Shawn's mom's treat. She wanted us to have a meal out on our trip, on her.
As soon as we got out of the van to check into the hotel we got attacked by mosquitoes. Winnipeg doesn't thrill me. It's drab.
